The food is the top five Italian Restaurants in Grand Rapids.. I believe everything is homemade. This restaurant has all the classics, and then some (they even put a good solid effort into making their salads). The service was outstanding, and the portions were very, very, generous. They even have their own free parking lot (which is extremely rare for downtown Grand Rapids). Kids menu too. The atmosphere could be a little more fun, other than that, I don't know how they could improve (some review said GFS food; no way). I'm going back!

4.8/5 Stars I'm a very big critic when it comes to places like this. Especially pizza. But let me start by saying this place is outstanding and very reasonable priced. I ordered 2 pizzas, the artichoke dip, salad, and chicken tenders. The dip was extremely good! Especially with the garlic bread. The salad had nothing but green lettuce and tasted amazing. The pizza is some of the absolute best I've ever tried! And I like to try pizza places all over the US. The chicken tenders we won't even count because it was the kids' menu, haha. Overall, this is one of the best pizza places in GR I have tried!!

Stopped here on our way to our Airbnb. Found this place on Google while searching for pasta. The atmosphere is very simple and old school. Our waitress was absolutely pleasant. We got so much food for the prices. We both tried fettuccine alfredo with chicken, brichetta, and pizza. Had food for 3 days! And the food was delicious! This was such a great way to start our trip!

My sister, a friend, and I visited for dinner and we were sat right away. It took a moment to get our drinks in and an appetizer. The service was just a tad slow, just enough to notice but not enough to feel like we weren’t being cared for so we didn’t mind. We split the garlic breadsticks with homemade sauce which was covered in garlic butter sauce and tasted really good while our friend got the chicken noodle soup which she loved! We all got pizza which we enjoyed as well. I unfortunately forgot to take a photo of the pizza but we all dug in too quickly. All in all it was a good visit and I would definitely visit again!

I got takeout from Salvatore’s tonight and it was delicious! The pizza was hot, there was a ton of cheesy goodness and spicy pepperoni and the price is fantastic - you absolutely can’t beat the 16in pepperoni for 12! The breadsticks were also very tasty! We will definitely be coming back!

Great pizza. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the pizza or the breadsticks that I tried, but I'll include a picture for reference. I'll definitely have to come back here whenever I'm visiting family in Grand Rapids.

Best authentic Italian restaurant around. Old world pizza, subs as well as other great Italian dishes. The place was packed last night but the wait staff did an amazing job. It's good to see the great community support for this Westside eatery.
